Well, I guess I'm the dumbest one around! But I have to say something:
When that riddle was told to me, I'm pretty sure that no mention was made about how the guy didn't walk, run or have an automobile leave him where he was or whatever. I think it went something like this:
A man lay dead in a field. He is alone and no one knows he's there. He's wearing a backpack. What's in it?
Would that have made it any harder?
Most of the riddles in that little book I got at the library I was able to find answers to by doing a quick google on them.
