Taking Bets

Is this nail going to come off?

Ouch!! I say it won't, but only because I am horribly optimistic!

I vote a resounding YES!

it sure is.

If you don't want to worry about it anymore, here is what to do: take some pliers, grab the very end of the toenail and pull it off in one swift motion. Kinda like removing a band-aid.

or have someone you love do it for you.

hope this helps. :)

Oh yeah. Unless that's some really cool, purple nail polish, that toenail is toast! :D

yes! Too bad too, didn't you just have your first Pedicure. You may not need another one until Spring.
That looks painful! Are you sure you didn't swear?

everyone has guessed YES! crap! DH says it really hurts and sucks when it comes off too. i've never intentionally inflicted pain on myself so NO, I won't be taking any pliers to myself :). And my only saving grace is that it is December, and I won't need to wear sandals again for 4 months. Of course just today, Katie told me it took her a full year for her toenail to be "normal" again after she did the same thing to herself last year. so much for another pedicure soon, Rach.

Um.....I would say that there is a good chance it will fall by the wayside; such is life.

owwwwwww!!! dang, girl...how heavy was that bowl?? lol!!

i've only had part of my baby toenail come off...and yeah, it hurt. maybe if you get super lucky it'll hang on until the nail is partly grown back in.

like you said--at least its not sandal season!

ouch AND ewwwwww! I think maybe you need some red nail polish. You might forget all about it!

yes, eventually. so sorry about that!

Y'know, Amy... I never know what the heck to expect when I come to your blog. Certainly not purple toe nails ready to fall off. Yeowch! How on earth did you do that?!?

Just to be different, I will vote NO! It's just gonna hurt for a long while and eventually heal. How's that?

Anonymous said...

ouch! how did you get that?
