ahh, the misery was last week. she seems to be in good temperment even though the rash seems to keep getting worse! we switched to something else but i think she might be allergic to that one too! it's awful!

oh, at least she is smiling. What a terrible thing to be allergic too. At least she has a mommy that recognizing these things. It would have taken me all week, multiply conversations with family and friends and a knock on the head to figure it out. I'm slow.

Been there, done that with the oldest. But in his case, he had a strep rash and an allergic reaction to penicillin on top of that. The pediatrician took one look at him and said, "You ugly, boy!" in his best Southern drawl. I burst into tears because I had been up all night, which prompted the dr. to hug me and announce, "But he'll be pretty again soon, Mom."

Hang in there. It's best that you found out about the allergy early because a penicillin reaction later in life can be even more serious!! So make sure it is noted in BIG RED LETTERS on all medical records!

And yes, he got the allergy from his dear ol' mom. :-(

How anyone can be THAT adorable with red bumps all over their face is beyond me. She is so cute, I'm glad she's feeling better!
