because there's only 15 minutes to spare, and we're off to the party!
Do you even realize how much those little candies from the original picture cost? For a 5 lb bag it was $32! This ain't no wedding cake, folks. I opted out for Strawberry Whoppers which I like to eat more anyway (the others were dark chocolate mints, blech!)

It looks amazing!
What little girl wants dark chocolate mints on her pink cake? Ugh.
WOW! Impressive. You done good!
Very cute. She must have loved it.
rachel: i know! sick! although looking at the two pics, i think those little candies did make a big difference. the whoppers kept falling off the turrets and didn't make it to the party - fell off in the car. o-well. they lasted enough for the picture!
christy: thank you!
kelly: she did love it. that was the best part of my day. we moms, we're suckers for a "you're the best, mom!"
That cake looks amazing! I didn't know Whoppers came in Strawberry, they probably tasted better than the mints anyway. Great job!
Elizabeth: oooh, the Strawberry are the best! I'm not sure if they've rolled out nationwide yet as I've only seen them at certain stores and more so recently. For a while I could only get them on trips to Idaho, of all places! And yes, people were actually requesting Whoppers along with their pieces of cake. It was funny!
Damn, girl. That's a superb cake.
Wow. Swee'Pea and TheMonk turn 3 in a couple of weeks. I'd like one Lighting McQueen and one Princess cake, please.
Cake is cook i like chocolate.
